Last updated 24 August 2026

This Disclaimer explains the limits of what Worksheeta provides — most importantly, around AI-generated content and curriculum alignment — so you know what to check before you use a worksheet in your classroom.

1. General

Worksheeta is a content-generation tool intended to help teachers prepare classroom materials more quickly. It is not a substitute for your own professional judgement as an educator, and the information in this Disclaimer should be read alongside our Terms of Service, which it forms part of.

2. AI-generated content

Passages, questions, and answer keys produced by Worksheeta are generated using third-party artificial intelligence services, guided by curriculum-specific instructions we have built. We apply automated checks before a worksheet reaches you — for example, confirming that an answer to a "find and copy" question actually appears in the passage. These checks reduce errors; they do not eliminate them.

AI-generated content can occasionally:

  • Contain a factual inaccuracy in a generated passage, particularly on specialised topics.
  • Include a question or answer that does not perfectly match the intended difficulty or format.
  • Fail to fully reflect the nuance of your specific school's or exam board's conventions, even within the correct curriculum.

You are responsible for reviewing any worksheet — including the passage, questions, and answer key — before distributing it to students. Worksheeta's per-question edit, regenerate, and delete tools exist specifically so you can correct anything that doesn't meet your standards before you print or share it.

3. Not professional educational advice

Worksheeta generates teaching materials; it does not provide pedagogical, curricular, or professional educational advice. Decisions about what is appropriate for your students, your classroom, and your specific teaching context remain yours.

4. Curriculum alignment

Worksheeta is designed to reflect common question formats and conventions associated with the US, UK, Australian, and Canadian curricula, based on publicly available information about how those systems are typically taught and assessed. Worksheeta and Skyen Systems Pty Ltd are independent and are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or certified by Cambridge Assessment, any national or provincial Department or Ministry of Education, exam board, or other official curriculum authority. References to curricula, levels, or assessment styles are descriptive only. If your school follows a specific syllabus or exam board's precise requirements, please verify alignment before relying on a generated worksheet for formal assessment purposes.

5. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for functions including AI content generation, text recognition, payment processing, and hosting, as described in our Privacy Policy. We select these providers carefully, but we do not control them, and we are not responsible for their availability or performance.

6. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and everything it generates are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our full warranty and liability position is set out in our Terms of Service.

7. Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
