Account & Data Deletion Policy

Skyen Systems Pty Ltd — Worksheeta (worksheeta.com)

Last updated 24 August 2026

This Policy explains exactly what happens to your account and your data if you choose to delete it. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Your right to delete your account

You may delete your Worksheeta account at any time, for any reason. Deleting your account is different from cancelling a paid subscription — cancellation stops future billing while your account remains open; deletion removes the account itself. See our Refund & Payments Policy for cancellation.

2. How to delete your account

You can delete your account directly from the "Your data" section of your Account page, or by emailing privacy@worksheeta.com and asking us to do it for you. If you have an active Worksheeta Pro subscription, deleting your account also cancels that subscription — you will not be charged again.

3. What happens when you delete your account

3.1 Immediately

  • Your account is deactivated and you are signed out.
  • You cannot sign in or create worksheets during the 30-day period.
  • Your worksheets and account data remain stored so they can be restored if you contact us in time.

3.2 Within 30 days

If you change your mind, contact us before the 30-day period ends and ask us to reactivate the same account. We will not create a new account or reset your free worksheet allowance.

If we do not receive a reactivation request in time, we permanently delete your personal data and saved content from our active systems after 30 days.

Because we run routine encrypted backups for disaster recovery, residual copies of your data may remain in those backups for up to a further 90 days before being overwritten in the normal backup cycle. Backup copies are not used for any purpose other than disaster recovery during that period.

3.3 What we keep regardless

Billing and transaction records are retained after account deletion for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law, typically 7 years. These are financial records of the transaction, not your worksheet content, and are retained because we are legally required to, not by choice.

4. What is not affected by deletion

  • Worksheets you have already downloaded or printed remain yours — deleting your account does not reach into your own device or your school's photocopier.
  • Aggregated or anonymised usage statistics that no longer identify you personally may be retained for analytical purposes.

5. Creating a new account later

You are welcome to create a new Worksheeta account after a previous account has been permanently deleted. To keep the free trial fair for everyone, a new trial allowance is not granted if that email has already used the free worksheet benefit.

6. Contact us

To request reactivation during the 30-day period, or if you have questions about account deletion, use the Contact Us form (choose “Reactivate my deleted/deactivated account”) or email privacy@worksheeta.com.
